Valheim

Deep North fauna and older threats

Valheim creatures

Valheim creatures in the 1.0 notes are a named northern set: Gammeltroll, Elaking, Moose, Seal, Hexen, Krigen, pulp variants, and more, plus boss Kall Fimbulbringer. Steam screenshots also label Stone Golem, Seeker, Abomination, and Lox. Drops and health are unpublished. This bestiary is those names, kinds, and where they were introduced.

What 1.0 named, and what screenshots already showed

Patch notes list Barka, Elaking, Eyeless One, Fallen Warrior, Gammeltroll, Hexen, Krigen, Hexahedric Pulp, Shapeless Pulp, Tiny Pulp, Moose, Moose Calf, Seal, Baby Seal, Writhan, and Kall Fimbulbringer. Moose is tameable and rideable. Seal is a creature row, not a boss. Pulp variants are three names, not one blob. The strings stay exact so a search for Gammeltroll or Elaking hits this URL.

Steam screenshot HUD text is the source for Stone Golem, Seeker, Abomination, and Lox. Those four predate 1.0 as observed labels. They stay here because the media inventory for the store still shows them, and because The Seeker Queen's name implies Seekers in Mistlands. They are not a full pre-1.0 bestiary. Boar, greydwarf, lox, and other older animals remain in the game even when older Early Access names stay off the 1.0 roster.

Hunter trophies sit next to this list. The Hunter is kill every kind of creature. The Master Hunter is the same on hard. The Trophy Collector is collect all trophies. Those rows omit a count, so none is listed here. For boss fauna, use Valheim bosses. For moose meat, Valheim food.

Moose is the ride that 1.0 actually named as tameable. Seal and baby seal are coastal rows. Gammeltroll and Elaking are the names players will search after the patch notes. Pulp variants split into hexahedric, shapeless, and tiny, which is why they occupy three rows instead of one. Fallen Warrior, Eyeless One, Hexen, Krigen, Writhan, and Barka complete the northern enemy set as published. Drops stay off the table because the patch list never printed them.

Older screenshot names and hunter trophies

Stone Golem, Seeker, Abomination, and Lox arrive from Steam screenshot HUD labels rather than from the 1.0 creature paragraph. They remain in the tenth world. Seekers explain why Steam locked the Mistlands Forsaken as The Seeker Queen instead of a shorter Queen. Lox remain a plains animal even while moose takes the northern saddle. Abomination is the swamp tree-horror players already knew. Stone Golem is the mountain walker in the same gallery.

The Hunter and Master Hunter ask you to kill every kind of creature, with hard difficulty on the second. The Trophy Collector asks for all trophies. Steam did not publish how many kinds or how many heads that is, so the table stops at names. Are You Alright? is die in every way possible, a death roster, not a fauna roster. Obliterated and Accidents Happen stay hidden on the public page.

Tameable Moose is the 1.0 headline animal. Cooked moose meat and smoked moose meat sit on Valheim food. A moose ride under aurora is the hub hero still, bound to the home route rather than reused here. For bosses, stay on Valheim bosses. For where each animal lives, the biome board is the order, not a drop table.
